Year 6 - Junior Citizen 2019

Year 6 were lucky enough to be invited to attend the Junior Citizen Scheme again this year. Below is a letter of thanks written by Suhitha.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a pupil from Cuddington Croft Primary School and my name is Suhitha Gogineni; I am writing to you to express my sincere appreciation for the session we attended on Tuesday. I found it very informative and it taught me a great number of different facts.

Without a doubt, the most important message that I took was from the British Transport Police: never cross the yellow line. This was because they explained the consequences extremely seriously; therefore, they are now in my mind. As a result of this, I will never cross the yellow line and will stay safe.

Based on my learning about the amount of sugar I should be consuming, I will consider the number of sweets I am eating as I now know that this is bad for my health. Furthermore, the Fire Service session also had a great impact on me, since I learnt how dangerous fast-spreading flames and smoke can be. Ultimately, the Surrey Police influenced me not to be persuaded easily because then someone could deceive me into breaking the law and receiving a criminal record.

Overall, I have been taught many life-saving and educational techniques. Please accept my sincere thanks and pass on my letter to the team. I have now been equipped well for my future life.

Yours faithfully,

Suhitha Gogineri
