Welcome to the Reception page!

Welcome to our EYFS. Here at Cuddington Croft our pupils - your children - thrive in a happy and caring, yet challenging school community that develops a lifelong love of learning.  

We have an exciting, inclusive curriculum that involves outdoor learning in almost all weathers and follows the Early Years Framework so every child makes good progress during their time with us. 

Every child is unique and we encourage and guide every child to be their very best individual self.

In Reception we have two classes, Goodall and Edison. Miss Perry is Goodall’s class teacher and the EYFS phase leader and Mrs Crossingham is Goodall’s teaching assistant. Mr Hunnable is Edison’s class teacher and Mrs Montebello is their teaching assistant. 

All of Early Years spend time together in our outdoor learning area, at Early Years phase assemblies and parties and Reception take on exciting responsibilities like speaking parts in our EYFS nativity performance. Reception also have the opportunity to attend clubs after school for the first time. 

Every half-term parents and carers are invited to visit their child’s classroom and see the learning environment and some of the super work they have been doing that term.
