4️⃣ Year 4 have been busy in the kitchen this week. Inspired by our learning about Africa, we cooked a delicious rice dish and put our measuring and chopping skills to the test. We also practised important kitchen safety, learning how to work carefully around hot surfaces like the hob. A fun and tasty way to bring our learning to life!

3️⃣Last week, Year 3 took their Science learning outdoors today! Using chalk in the playground, the children worked together to draw life-sized skeletons and identify where the major bones are found in the human body. This hands on activity helped bring our learning to life, encouraging teamwork, curiosity and a deeper understanding of how our bodies are structured. Fantastic work, Year 3!

They engaged in a variety of activities and discussions around transitioning to secondary school, working collaboratively in groups and reflecting on their emotions and who they can turn to if they feel worried. GLF Foundation Day at CC! What a fantastic day celebrating GLF Foundation Day! 🎉 Year 6 joined the live Boundless Celebration Assembly at Glyn, while the rest of us tuned in from Cuddington. From the incredible magic show to recognising achievements across the Trust, it was a truly inspiring event. We were so proud to see the amazing entries in this year’s Boundless events and celebrating our successes. We had lots of fun dressing up as the letters G.L.F. – can you guess which letters we were? We finished the day by learning more about the GLF Foundation charity and the differencesit makes. Thank you to everyone who donated and supported such a worthwhile cause. 💚💜❤️

As part of our Nonsuch Charity Day last week, our House Leaders worked with ABC Book Club to raise money to support schools in developing their libraries and fostering a love of reading. 📚Having worked with the ABC Book Club to create our own wonderful library, the children were keen to support a cause that is so closely linked to our passion for reading. The children embraced a range of sponsored reading activities with great enthusiasm and determination. We are incredibly proud of the children for their commitment to supporting other schools and helping more children experience the joy of reading. A huge thank you to our families, staff and ABC Book Club for generously donating and raising awareness. 📚

3️⃣Year 3 put their statistics skills to the test during their Central Question learning! The children created their own charts, carefully interpreted data and then designed clues for their classmates to solve. With each clue cracked, they unlocked enclosures and helped the animals at London Zoo! 🦁🐼🐆 This exciting challenge combined maths, problem-solving and teamwork, showing how data can be used in real-life situations. Fantastic detective work and mathematical thinking from Year 3! 🔍

We absolutely love our new Wall Art in the office area. This was designed by the School Council using pupil voice and funded by the PTA. One wall design is a welcome sign which includes the top % of languages spoken by school families and the other wall design shares the experiences and opportunities available for a child at Cuddington. We hope you are as impressed by it as we are! #Inspire #Enrich #Succeed

Year 3 had a great time today researching rivers and mountain ranges across Europe. We explored the Danube, River Thames, Scandinavian Mountains, The Alps, the Lake District and the River Vulga. As a team, we have created fact-files that we are going to use to present our findings to the class later in the week. We can't wait to share all the exciting knowledge we've learnt with our friends!
