GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

House System

Houses

We run a house system which is very successful in terms of promoting team spirit, in our school, children's attainment, effort towards learning, self-esteem and greater links between the different phases in school

There are 3 houses at Cuddington Croft, each representing a place of local and historical importance:

Lumley, Nonsuch and Whitehall.

The house group colour for Nonsuch is red, for Whitehall the colour is blue and for Lumley it is green.

House points are used to reward extra effort made with learning and are awarded, recorded and collected on a weekly basis.

Children are allocated into their house group in the autumn term of Year 1.  All children are allocated their house group at random, but with the aim that house groups will be diverse and inclusive, with a fair mix in terms of gender, race, ability and so on.  Each house has two leaders from Year Six who have been selected after applying for the role. These children model and demonstrate our 6C values and promote these values in all that they do. .
