Hindleap Warren - Year 4's first residential!
Year 4 had a fantastic time on their residential trip to Hindlead Warren! They had two days of adventurous activities and they loved every minute of it. They were able to display Cuddington’s 6Cs in abundance, especially Courageous!
It was fantastic to witness the children feeling proud of themselves and encouraging each other when they faced challenges, especially in our first activity where the children had to take the plunge into ‘The Pool of Life’. When asked about her trip, a child from Stanton class enthusiastically commented, “Hindleap was really fun, we never got bored! My favourite thing to do was the Forest Adventure because you didn’t have to worry about getting dirty! I also loved walking in and out of the streams and having to climb over the rocks!”
On the second day, the children pushed themselves further by completing challenges such as Abseiling and the Hide Adenventure! Another child from Stanton class reported how exhilarating the activities were and added, “My favourite was Abseiling because you had to face the floor from a very high platform!”
Overall, Year 4 loved their trip to Hindleap and are already excited for their week long residential to Kingswood in year 5!
